Simpan’s 2025 Year in Review
Simpan’s 2025 year in review covering AUM growth, private wealth solutions, partnerships, and innovation.
Growth is often measured by how tall something becomes. But like the bamboo installations of Tanabe Chikuunsai IV, where bamboo is shaped, braided, and guided to move in many directions, our growth in 2025 was not about scale alone. It was about depth, intention, and craftsmanship.
This year marked a period where we branched out thoughtfully, strengthening foundations while expanding the ways we serve investors, families, and communities.
By the Numbers
IDR 1.5T Assets Under Supervision, growing more than 3× year-on-year
1,000+ clients who placed their trust in us
These numbers matter, but what mattered more was how we arrived here.
A Year of Branching Out, Shaped With Intention
2025 was a year of deepening relationships and broadening solutions. We focused not only on serving more clients, but on serving them better, with greater clarity, access, and long-term thinking.
Strengthening Simpan Private Wealth
We continued to build Simpan Private Wealth as a leading platform for Indonesian families thinking across generations.
Enabling investments onshore and offshore, in both IDR and USD
Providing access to institutional-grade USD funds, including Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Funds, and other strategies typically hard to access
Empowering Indonesian family offices through an integrated ecosystem of lawyers, estate planners, and tax advisors, creating a true one-stop solution for private wealth
Our focus remained clear: helping families manage wealth with structure, confidence, and long-term perspective.
Intentional Partnerships
We chose partnerships that expand access, modernize investing, and create real-world impact.
A New Approach to Productive Waqf
Together with Istiqlal Global Fund and Trimegah Sekuritas, we introduced Simpan Cash Syariah Fund – Kelas Dana Abadi Istiqlal, a transparent, modern way for Muslims in Indonesia to participate in productive waqf.
Funds are invested in Reksa Dana Syariah, where returns are allocated for waqf purposes managed by Istiqlal, while the principal can be preserved. This initiative was endorsed by the Minister of Religious Affairs, reflecting its role in modernizing Islamic endowments for the future.
Financial Literacy for Migrant Workers
In partnership with Karir Jepang (Mariku AIC), we committed to improving financial literacy for Pekerja Migran Indonesia, supporting them in preparing funds to return home and build long-term aspirations.
Ecosystem & Thought Leadership in Private Wealth
We continued building the ecosystem around private wealth, not just products, but conversations and shared learning.
Through After 6 PM, our curated forum for family offices and wealth decision-makers, we created space for meaningful dialogue on wealth, legacy, and generational transition
In collaboration with Dentons HPRP, we strengthened our ecosystem approach, bringing legal, investment, and estate planning into one cohesive framework for families
These conversations are essential to building wealth that lasts.
Research & Insights
In partnership with Acres Research, we published market research showing that in markets like Indonesia, market timing still matters. The findings reinforced the importance of disciplined strategies and professional guidance, so busy investors don’t have to navigate complexity alone.
Innovation & the Future of Investing
We also began laying the groundwork for what’s next.
Together with d3 Labs, we started tokenizing our range of funds, exploring how technology can make investing more accessible, efficient, and future-ready.
At Indonesia Blockchain Week Summit 2025, our Co-Founder Nicholas Hilman shared this conviction, highlighting tokenization as a catalyst for modernizing how Indonesia invests and participates in economic growth.
Thank you for walking this journey with us in 2025. We’re grateful for your trust. See you in 2026.
